Yay! 🥂
Almost late to the party—I’m still preoccupied with my Ludotronics book release a few weeks ago—but here we go:
The anthology Narratives Crossing Boundaries: Storytelling in a Transmedial and Transdisciplinary Context, edited by Joachim Friedmann, which I contributed to and that you don’t want to miss!
I love this format, as it provides the opportunity to be a bit more speculative and imaginative and even a bit more playful than strict academic papers would usually allow, and of all that, this anthology delivers a lot.
To start with, you’ll find great contributions from the wonderful people at the Cologne Game Lab and the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln, particularly Vanessa Ossa and Gundolf S. Freyermuth and Joachim Friedmann’s terrific introduction, and there’s Ezinne Ezepue, Eugene “Ramirez” Mapondera, and Dirk Hoyer, with whom I had the privilege and pleasure to share a track at the final Clash of Realities conference last year.
And there’s more!
You can order it from the [transcript] publisher or buy it at the bookstore. It will look great on your shelf, I promise! But you can also download the digital version FOR FREE because this book is published under a ❤️ BY-SA Creative Commons license ❤️ which I love and appreciate.
If you have something valuable to add or some interesting point to discuss, I’ll be looking forward to meeting you at Mastodon!
