Yesterday’s front page headline (November 5th) in the New York Times was set in 96 pt. type, followed by “Racial Barrier Falls in Decisive Victory” as a subhead:
This was only the fifth time that the New York Times used 96 pt. type for its front page headline. The other four occasions were MEN WALK ON MOON, NIXON RESIGNS, 1/1/00, and U.S. ATTACKED.
