There have been changes around here, again.

Here’s a little roadmap, along this blog’s history, that might give you some orientation.

In the beginning, ages ago, there were my twin blogs collateral tales and brand meets world. Later, these became two of between drafts’s six categories—together with brave new texts, creed of reason, the one and twenty, and plush bunnyisms. These six categories managed to persist through several implementations and redecorations of this blog.

Plus, there were several iterations of my side blog just drafts aka my not-so-secret “Secret Level.” All posts from these iterations were, over time, integrated into between drafts proper. Soon, there’ll be something new.

In 2026, I applied not only some redecoration again, but finally implemented brand new categories! Each has two faces, if you will, like coins.

• Chronicles is about my social and private life on the one hand, and on my professional life with projects and publications on the other.
• Blueprints is about creative aspects of writing and game design on the one hand, and on writing and design theories, techniques, and formal aspects on the other.
• Reflections is about reviewing the creative aspects of various works of art and art events, and on their formal and technical aspects on the other.
• Propagations is about technological advances and transformations on the one hand, and on enshittification, media failure, and corporate greed on the other.
• Crossroads is about societal instabilities and retrogressions on the one hand, and on cultural artifacts and memes as reflections of the zeitgeist on the other.
• Occupations is about amateur hour in media and marketing professions on the one hand, and on actual professionals and results on the other.

Residuals of the old categories will certainly pop up here and there, and the tags are probably in a kind of mess by now. On the upside, the plush bunnies are still around. They like it here, and they’re not going away soon!
