Supersolid old-school crime thriller, ticking off all the checkboxes of the genre and adding a few new tricks. Brutal and stylish action, great acting, interesting characters, snappy dialogues, solid cinematography, and terrific music and sound design.
The script certainly doesn’t invent the wheel and is a bit over the top at times, but it’s a thrilling ride from start to finish and an intense experience.
